Nothing loved is ever lost!! Verna you left a great impression here on earth, I'm sure you're doing the same in heaven. God bless, you are missed by all!!! ??
Love and Miss You every day. Knowing we loved each other dearly makes each day a little easier.
Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near; still loved, still missed and very dear.
We love and miss you Mom....today and forever in our hearts. Merry Christmas!
I am thankful for the Thanksgivings past that we all shared together. I still remember sitting at the kids table and waiting for someone to say "Grace" so we could eat the delicious food you made for us. I am thankful that you took the time to cook and bake so we could all share the day together. I still make all the same dishes you made for my family. I learned from the best. I love you and I miss you and I am thankful I had you for a mother. XOXO

I was here for your Birthday and Mothers Day and plan to spend these holidays in York every year with our family. We all miss and love you. Rest in Peace.
Dear Verna (Mom),
I couldn't think of a better way to celebrate you on Mother's Day than by telling you all the things I miss:
I miss the gentle, soft-spoken way you had about you that always made me feel loved. I miss the kindness you showed me when I needed a friend. I miss your late night phone calls to tell me the newest joke. I miss the sweetness of your smile, and the happiness that was always in your heart.
But most of all....I miss YOU Mom!
I Love You!!!
Dear Mom, this poem is for you:
I said a Mother's Day prayer for you
to thank the Lord above,
for blessing me with a lifetime
of your tenderhearted love.
I thanked God for the caring
you've shown me through the years,
for the closeness we've enjoyed
in times of laughter and of tears.
And so, I thank you from the heart
for all you've done for me.
And I bless the Lord for giving me
the BEST Mother there could be!!!
I love you Mom!

Mom you will never be forgotten as your memory will live in my heart forever. Thanks for giving me a beautiful life. Love Ya
Our mom, your sister, your grandma, your aunt, your mother-in-law, your sister-in-law, and your dear friend Verna was the friendliest, funniest, kindest, most caring person you will ever have touch your life. She always put her children, family, and friends before herself, and went out of her way to make everyone feel comfort and love. She worked hard and devoted much of her life to make sure her six children were never in need of anything. She provided us with all the love and guidance we needed to feel secure in the decisions we made with our lives.
She touched many people in her lifetime. She loved to make people laugh with her jokes (the dirty ones and the clean ones), and could bring a smile to your face on your saddest day.
She was always there to lend a hand, listen when you needed a friend, bake and cook when you needed comfort food, and she was never judgmental or expected anything in return, which is what made her so very special.
We are all very fortunate to have had her in our lives and we will miss her dearly. But we all have that special memory of our mom, your sister, your grandma, your aunt, your mother-in-law, your sister-in-law, and your dear friend Verna that will bring that smile back to your face on your saddest day.
When I think of Verna, what comes to mind is the very first time I met her. My sister, Sue, and Verna's son, Jim, were announcing their engagement at a family gathering near Christmas. We were all laughing & having a good time telling stories and jokes. The fact that Verna was almost my mother's age, I & everyone else there, were tempering the tone of our jokes. We weren't telling any really off-color jokes. That was until Verna said she had a joke for us. Her joke was a whopper & definintely off color! Right then & there we knew she was open season! No more being proper or polite with her! She had a wonderful sense of humor and always made me laugh. What a great legacy! She and I had a special bond - our pet birds! She would "bird sit" my parakeet, Bailey Bird, when I went out of town. She really enjoyed listening to him talk to her and I mean that literally - he talked. I always felt safe leaving him with her because I knew he'd be safe, loved & cared for - like everyone and everything in her life! Verna, you will be missed!
I can't find the words to express how much I will miss you! You loved me like no other & I loved you back just as much! My memories with you are priceless and cherished forever! You are my favorite & I love you the most :)
We love and miss you so much! You will never be forgotten. You were the best grandma I could have had! Grandma you will forever be in our hearts!
We love you.

You are the Mother I received
the day I wed your son,
And I just want to thank you, Mom
for the things that you have done.
You have given me a gracious man
with whom I share my life.
You are his lovely mother and
I his lucky wife.
You used to pat his little head,
and now I hold his hand.
You raised in love a little boy
then gave to me a man.
Your children, Verna, are a testament to the wonderful and loving Mother you have always been. You will live on forever in all our hearts.
May God Bless
So sorry to hear about her death. I knew her to be a very nice lady who lived beside one of my old friends Caryl Rudy Einsig.I'm offering my sympathy to the whole family, especially Jim and Troy Roberts who I knew quite well. And also Bonnie who was a friend I knew through Caryl and school. I know that Verna will be very sadly missed.
Grandma,I wrote you a wee note earlier and didn't leave my name because you would know who it was from, but I'm putting my name on this one so MY grandma will know that you are coming to be with her.Two best grandmas EVER!! Heather Stuttard
