Sam and John Thompson had lunch at the Yorktowne for many years. I got to know Sam in his later years,when I would accompany John to lunch (I was John's secretary). Sam was a real gentlemen and I know he will be missed by family and friends. I will always have fond memories of him, John, and O'Beers reminiscing about the past.
