Cousin Joyce... so very, very sorry to learn of the passing of Hap... Both Bill and I have many fond memories of Hap... his "kids" were very lucky to have him as a teacher/coach.... he definitely will be remembered by many.. what a gift it is for you to know that!

Dear Joyce and Family.....

When I came to teach in Dover for my first "professional" job, Hap was my teaching buddy. Although he taught math and I taught English, he helped me get adjusted to the school, the students and the tasks at hand. Along my path in life, God placed some angels along the way to guide me, and I believe that Hap was one of those angels.

Later in my career, I was transferred to the middle school where Hap was an administrator. His kindness and understanding was very helpful to me.

I know from living in the Dover community at the time, that Hap was highly regarded as an elementary principal. Serving children/students was his calling, and he served well.

Thanks for sharing Hap with me and others. Blessings to all of you.
