I had the fortunate opportunity to meet Jeffrey while he was a student at Gordon-Conwell back in 1982. He did a rotation at my church as Youth Director. At that time, I was only 15yrs of age. Over the years we kept in touch off and on. I last saw Jeffrey back in 2005 when I visited him in Florida for the weekend. It was there we shared alot of our personal self and even shed a few tears.

I will always remember Jeffrey. While he was different in so many ways, I could never forget his goodness.

May God comfort his family and friends. You will be missed my good brother.

I knew Jeff from Christian Fellowship at Shippensburg. He was kind to a freshman who needed a friend. Once I was to have gotten a visit from my cousin who couldn't make it at the last minute. Jeff appointed himself my "Cuz" for the evening. From that day on we greeted each other as "Cuz" whenever we met, even after we graduated. He was a wonderful person, and I know he is in the arms of our loving Lord.

Dr. Woodyard was the first African American studies proffesor. He helped inspire me to get my undergrad and Masters degree in African American studies. He will be missed.
