As I sit here and try to prepare myself for your funeral on Wed, I realize that there truly is never a right time to say goodbye. My heart is heavy and My mind filled with "if only..." I'm blessed to have had the many memories and wished there were many more. I will be sure to cherish Everything more and not take anyone or anything for granted. I'm grateful to God the last words I heard from u were "Aiight Pooch I love u" Grandpop I miss u 80 yrs on this Earth wasn't enough; if only I would've said more if only I would've did more. If only I would've known that last call and visit was the FINAL call/visit. Love u Grandpop- Rest Easy

My grandpa's friend Junior (from Reading) said that Grandpa is resting in glory and that this is not a loss. We lose things that need to be found, My grandpa is where he belongs. I'm more than grateful for the time we shared even though I feel like we had more to discuss. The hardest thing to grasp is knowing he/ no one will ever call me "Sugar" when I enter a room.

He meant so much to so many people, I pray for all our wounded hearts.

Rest in peace Mr. Buck. It's not going to be the same without you living across the street from me. I still get the feeling you're going to be out front sitting on the porch relaxing and, I find myself at timeslooking out the window just to see if your there. I will miss you and I will never forget you. Sleep well my friend.
