WRIGHTSVILLE Robert L. Fix, 72, died Saturday January 26, 2013 at the York Hospital. He was the husband of Rubyann (Stambaugh) Fix. They were married for 50 years. Robert was born on September 21, 1940 in Stewartstown, a son of the late Charles S. and Doria P. (Clark) Fix. He retired as an inspector from Precision Components Corp., formerly Allis Chalmers. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He attended Shenberger's Chapel and was a member of the Pleasureville American Legion. He enjoyed building and working with flintlock muzzle loaders with his lifetime friend, Bill Amspacher. The Memorial service will begin at 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 9, 2013, at the Pleasant View Brethren in Christ Church, 434 E. Lancaster St., Red Lion, with the Rev. Ken Gibson officiating. The visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. at the church. Military honors will be presented by the York County Veterans Honor Guard beginning at 2 p.m. at the church. In addition to his wife, Robert is also survived by a stepson, Gregory P. Joines; a stepdaughter, Joy J. Miller; two sons, Robert P. Fix, husband of Doreen, and Wade L. Fix, all of York; four grandchildren, Joseph Frantz, Joell Miller, Dillon Fix and Katie Fix; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Charles F. Fix and William N. Fix; and two sisters, Norma J. Vaught and Joan E. Jones. Memorial contributions may be made to Pleasant View Brethren in Christ Church, 434 E. Lancaster St., Red Lion, PA 17356. Arrangements entrusted to the John W.
