Sunday dinner at your house with you sitting with all of us is one thing I miss the most. It just doesn't feel the same without you there.

I remember every time when you would get a cup of ice and if any ice fell on the floor you would just kick it under the fridge instead of picking it up.

Today Presley was talking about a certain cereal that you ate. She tried to describe it, but I still cannot figure out which kind she meant. It made me smile to hear her talk about you. We think of you more and more each day, especially with Thanksgiving only a few days away.

I saw a pack of Reese's peanut butter cups at Ritter's and thought of you, they were one pound cups each I bet you would have loved them.

I am so thankful that Cooper got to know you. You made such an impact on my life, and I can see how much he meant to you when he speaks about you. It breaks my heart to see the sadness in his eyes when he talk about missing you or looks at one of your pictures. He often writes notes to you and tapes them to your kitchen door. Just the other day he put stickers on a balloon he got and said he wanted to let his balloon go so that it would float up to heaven to you. He said you would bring the stickers back down to him and he would get to see you. Even though he only got to know you for 5 1/2 years, he will have the memories to last a lifetime.

I was just thinking about how you would refuse to eat Chinese food because you didn't believe the ingredients were what they said they were. And how you never tried pizza because you didn't like he way it looked. No matter how many times we asked, you wonuldn't try it.

Saw a quote yesterday and it made me think of you. "My grandfather gave me the greatest gift anyone could give to another person, he believed in me." -Jim Valvano

Every time that I hear old country songs I think of you. I remember you listening to a tape of Loretta Lynn and Conway Twitty in your living room one day. When the phone rang on the tape, I raced over and picked up the phone and said "Hello". I was embarrassed but we both laughed for the longest time. And I can't forget Hank Williams and Hank Williams, Jr. songs. Tan and I got to hear There's a Tear in My Beer many times!

I remember your love of soft ice cream from Reesers, Forrys, etc. We would always call you before leaving the house to see how much we should bring home for you.

I remember your love for cotton candy. Everytime we went to the fair or anywhere that would have it, we would always bring some back for you. It took all I had not to break down and cry this year at the fair when I saw the big bags of otton candy.
