I knew him long ago when I was just a kid, and he was always very charismatic and nice to me. I will always remember the cheery way he answered the phone- Hello BARTELS! I always hoped one day I would run onto him again. I won't forget. My condolences to his family and loved ones.

Deb & family,
So very sorry for the loss of your father. He was a dear friend through our real estate businesses and also as a member of the Happy Hour group at our family restaurant The Talk of the Town. He was a true gentleman and will be missed. Prayers to you, Cinda

I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Bartels through our shared offices, a little more than a year ago. I feel blessed to have met such an incredible man. I wish all of his family loving memories and peace knowing that he is certainly one of God's finest angels.
