To Mrs. Elko and Family:
I was very sad to learn of Steve's passing; please accept my sincere condolences. Steve will always be "Mr. Elko" to me. He was my first boss after graduating college and beginning a career with Hill's in East York in 1985. As a 22 year old moving away from home to a new town is never easy, but Steve made me feel right at home. He was a true professional. The thing that I remember best about Steve was that he always stayed calm no matter how stressful or frantic things became. He lead by example and that example was simply the best.
Sincerely,
Scott Kovaloski
