It was with sadness that we learned of Jack's passing and remember with affection his smile and jolly laugh-the friendly wave and words over the garden fence. May he rest in peace and his family be enfolded with the healing love of God. Be with them Lord in moments of reflection and give thanks that Jack was part of their lives. Comfort them during the coming days, give to them hope and strength as they grieve his death and come to terms with his absence from their lives.
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3 v.16.

Jack and his beloved Veronica were wonderful friends and neighbors to us, during our last four years at Menwith Hill. Jack always had a friendly smile and hello, and Veronica would bring over her delicious trifles (and her cute laugh and sense of humor). We fondly remember Jack always had bits of wisdom to pass along, funny stories, and keen observations about everything. We will miss our monthly talks on the phone, since moving back Stateside in 2005. We still relied on his optimistic attitude and wisdom and saw it as the gift that it was. A truer soul we have never known, a truer friend we have never had. Godspeed Jack may you be holding hands with your dear Veronica right now - and may the love and friendship of all those who miss you bridge the space between Heaven and Earth. Love always, Paulette & Brian
