When I was waiting for a total hip replacement, Janet sent me an email telling me that I was her hero for suffering so much pain in silence. This beautiful gesture was typical of Janet's unselfish and sincere ways. Janet had been battling cancer for 7 years, but was thinking of me. "Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some people stay awhile and help us become more than we ever were before. They leave footprints on our hearts, and we are never quite the same".

We were truly saddened by Janet's passing. She was an amazing woman who brought out the best in all of us. Her laughter, love and passion for life will always be in our hearts.

I met Janet when my stepdaughter, Meredith, decided
to marry her wonderful son, Jason. My first impressions of Janet as a beautiful lady both inside and out never changed as the years went by. My respect and love for this brave lady did grow. Janet was full of life and just made you smile or laugh. Tom and I will see her special gifts and talents in her children and our grandchildren. I am so sorry.

For love is immortality." - Emily Dickinson

There are very few people in your life that you will meet that are as caring and loving as Aunt Janet was. We loved you dearly. Our deepest sympathy to Uncle Bruce, Jason and Joanna.
