Karla, so sorry to hear of your loss. You are in my thoughts and prayers
Bob will be missed by everyone in the Zanesville area that is all except for some neighbors on Maple. He always had a joke or a riddle to pass on to everyone. Whether or not he knew you he acted like he had known you all of his life. I miss the times when I would come home on leave from the Marines and stop by the drive thru and go to the Blue Front and get some “breakfast or lunch”. Barb could never have found a better man. Keep a place for me in the formation in Gods Marine Company. We will all be back together in that Tuns Tavern in heaven soon. God bless you.
Barbara and Family,
I was saddened to learn of your loss. As a kid I never knew what to expect from Bob but I always knew it would be funny-very funny. I was in awe of his zest for life.
As others have noted he also inspired me to join the Marine Corps. I wanted to be as "squared away" as Bob was. Rest assured that Bob is walking his post in that same military manner in front of the Gates.

Frye Family, we all knew Bob very well from the 60's on during the Drive Thru years, his military jacket he always wore, sidearm, the smile that was always on his face & being the proudest marine i ever knew.
