I knew Barbara as a beautiful teenage girl. Just now learning about her accomplishments, I see that she had become an even more beautiful woman. It is so very sad to lose someone so talented and caring at such a young age. I salute her life of giving and loving.

May you find comfort in the thoughts of the life that was lived. It was inspiring, full and left so many others in a better place. I met Barbara once last year with my Aunt (a childhood friend) and was comforted by the way Barbara lived her life and battled her illness. She was a beautiful woman and will continue to flourish in all that she has helped and inspired. My condolences to you all.

Dear Artie, Millissa, Alexandra and all who loved and will miss her,
Barbara will be missed by all of those she touched. She became a "sister" in our family late in life and her smile, her laugh and her strength grabbed our hearts and made a difference in our lives.
We understand and share your loss.
Today I looked at our family photo from Newport and I cried.
All of us Forman's will miss her.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Barbara - you will be missed. It was an honor to do pro bono work in behalf of not only the Children's Museum, creating the first in Florida, but doing the same for Suited for Success - there is little question you were "suited for success" and I am honored to have had the chance to co-chair your event this year - sadly it will be your last - but you will always live on in the hearts and minds of all those you have helped to have a chance in life - and I'm proud to have called you friend.
Love always - Bob

It is with great sadness and emotion that we mourn the loss of Barbara. She touched so many lives in a positive and caring ways. She was always interested in others, even through her long and difficult battle with cancer. She expressed concern and caring for those close to her as well as people she hardly knew.I was blessed to have spent many hours of quality time with one of the finest people I have ever known. She loved life and even when her's became so difficult, she would smile, laugh and express joy to be met by a lapping Golden Retriever. For me, she was a friend, a coach, a student (yoga), a teacher, a poet and artist. Barbara's leadership, creativity and enthusiam kept dreams alive. Her body rests, her spirit soars.
Love, Joani
