Sweet Melissa,
Krista and I are still beside our selfs in disbelief. He was such a wonderfully nice man to be around, a gentleman, a person that you could always count on to make you smile. We will think of him often for sometime to come. And throughout his absence we pray for you and the kids and know that David has his place beside another great man where he continues to teach the meaning of life.

My prayers are with the Treadway family, the church staff, and the local body of Sandy Ridge Baptist Church. I will greatly miss and cherish the opportunities I had to dialog with David about his ministry, family and passion for the church. “The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer, my God, my mountain where I seek refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.” Psalms 18:2

Dear Melissa, Lyndsey & Landon,
We love you and are praying you will feel God's loving arms around you. There is no reason to hang your head low. David ran a race of perserverance. He accomplished a lot in his life for the glory of God. He would want each of you to live your life in a way that seeks God's will and after His own heart just as David. We are here praying for God to grant you strength, wisdom and guidance along with peace and love. Our loving memory will always be of David's smile, friendship and love he had for Jesus, his family and friends. Keep the good memories close to heart. We look forward to seeing our friend again in our eternal home.

Melissa, Lindsey, and Landon,
We are deeply sorry for your loss and know that words cannot express how you feel or what your going through. The way David interpreted the Bible into everyday living and made it interesting is what lead us to Sandy Ridge after attending and researching several churches in the area. His method of teaching was like no other and is what brought my faith back to Our Lord and Savior. He will be greatly missed and irreplaceable. You are all in our thoughts and prayers and if you need anything please don't hesitate to let us know. God Bless,

Words can't describe how our family feels at your loss and how we wish for all of you comfort and strength and encouragement that only Jesus can give so freely. We know the loss you have previously had with Todd's dad passing does not make each step easier; but, our church people are here praying for grace, mercy, and comfort for each of you. I know he carries us when we can't walk anymore. You've come to far to turn back now. Cherish all the memories and live each day knowing that people are praying for you all.
