GERHARD (GERRY) LABRECK SCHUMACHER II, of Houston, TX, died tragically the 13th of February 2008. Gerry was born on the 10th of June 1969 in Houston, TX. He was 38. Gerry is preceded in death by his mother Rosemary Senger Schumacher. He is survived by his loving wife, Laura Wald Schumacher; his father, Gerhard Schumacher; sister and brother-in-law, Charlene and Ronnie Haynie and their children, Savannah and Jake; his grandmother, Rose Senger; his Aunt Charlotte and her husband Dr. Samuel Axelrad; numerous cousins, family and friends. His larger than life spirit and passion for family and friends will be dearly missed. Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from five o'clock in the afternoon until eight o'clock in the evening on Sunday, the 17th of February, in the Parlor at Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, 1010 Bering Drive in Houston. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at ten o'clock in the morning on Monday, the 18th of February at St. Michael's Catholic Church, 1801 Sage Road in Houston, where Rev. R. J. Matzinger, CSB, will officiate. Serving as pallbearers are Doug Lerner, Adam Aronson, Jonathan Axelrad, Larry Baum, Higdon Compton, David Dial, Mark Drury, Michael Lerner, Joe Licata, Taggert Mills, Kerry Pauly, Ryan Wald, and Scott Wald.
