Words can’t aptly express how much Pete will be missed. I am proud to say Pete was part of my family. What a pleasure it was to have known him. Though we may shed tears because he is gone, we can all smile when we think of the wonderful life he experienced.

Pete was an amazing person, who knew everyone and always had something friendly to say. Pete wanted to learn new things and sought out people to teach him. He also took the time to share those things he knew with those willing to listen to him. Quite the photographer, Pete shared his creative talent with the University of Houston in many venues. It is hard not to walk UH campus and not think about him. Pete's loss will be felt by everyone at UH. Thanks for being a good friend, Pete, it was great to know you!

Thanks, Pete, for all you did for the Cougars over the years! You will be missed. Now, go claim your "best seat in the house" for all future games; it will be among many other great Cougars. And may God bless your memory and comfort your grieving family and friends.

I only met Pete this year at U of H. Not knowing who I was, Pete kindly gave me a press pass to use to get in the photograph dugouts at Minute Maid. He became a friend instantly. Guys like Pete are far and few in between. I will miss him dearly.
