Condolences to all of Tammy's family. I am from England and only been a Member of FR a few weeks when I came across "Texasflower". Her name appealed to me greatly also the fact that she often signed her own name Tammy when she left a thread or said good night for the evening or even when she just posted something that she felt needed a more personal touch. That was Tammy someone who was not afraid to put her name to something that she believed in and felt was right.
She will be greatly missed at FR, my last long chat with her was the day that Prince Charles married Camilla we discussed the differences in wedding cakes in the UK and America including recipes. She posted pictures of them including one she said was similar to hers. She was warm and kind person who would discus things rather than take offence or get angry the world needs more than her.
God Bless her family especially her mother and daughters, God Bless you all and my you find peace in how she was loved and appreciated by all in who came in contact with her even those who only "met" her over the internet.
God Bless you all
Love

Tammy's loss to her family is also a loss to her extended family at FR. We had come to love her as our own sister.
God bless and comfort you, her immediate family. Please know that there are thousands of FReepers who loved her so much and are praying for your comfort and for her soul (which shot up to Heaven like an arrow, I am sure).
God Bless Tammy (Texasflower), and her family. Thank you, Texanfor Bush for giving us this chance to say goodbye to our beloved sister.

I'm so sorry -- Tammy was kind enough to send a bumper sticker to me, which I placed on our car in honor of her dad as we drove to the second innauguration of President Bush. I offer my deepest condolences to you, and prayers to the Lord for Tammy's entire family in the coming days.

I wish to send you all my sincerest condolences. I only knew Tammy for a brief time but I found her to be a lovely, lively and friendly person to correspond with on FR - one time she wrote me and we discussed parrots; as she was interested in what sort of birds we had here in Australia. She left us too soon. God bless you all.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Tammy's sudden passing. I got to know her on the FR ping list for American Idol this year, and her posts were always incisive, but also thoughtful and sweet. She clearly had a soft spot for some of the "underdogs" of the competition, which showed her compassionate side. I loved her handle, too - Texasflower - which always made me think of waving acres of bluebonnets in the spring. Just getting to know her the little I did shows me that her loss must be deeply felt by all her family and friends. We will miss her very much at FR. With sincere sympathy, Hetty Fauxvert

Folks, I just wanted to tell you how sorry I am that Tammy is gone. I can only remember kindness and encouragement when I think of her. I am glad she knew Christ in this life and now knows Him to the fullest extent. May He be with you as you grieve, and may you live lives that honor her memory. I offer Isaiah 61:3--
Christ will...
comfort all who mourn,
and provide for those who grieve in Zion-
to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes,
the oil of gladness instead of mourning,
and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair.
They will be called oaks of righteousness,
a planting of the LORD
for the display of his splendor.

Earlier this year, I debated many political issues with Tammy on a conservative website. We were strongly disagreeing with each other, but we somehow managed to keep the debate friendly. We got to know each other. Sometimes we'd even say goodnight to each other. I'm devastated by news of her passing. On the internet, it's rare that I find someone who really makes me think when they disagree with me. Tammy made me think. She was bright, polite, sincere, caring and patriotic. I will miss her. My deepest sympathies to her family.

Tammy and I had a wonderful talk one night, late, right after she lost her wonderful Dad. I had lost my dad as well, so we had a lot in common.
We touched each other's hearts that night. Although I'd planned to meet her in person, neither of us ever got the chance. I'm so sorry that opportunity is lost now. I feel like I've lost a dear friend.
To her daughters, she spoke of you both with so much pride and so much love... Carry that in your hearts as you try to heal.
May God be with you all, and especially her girls. I'll be praying for you all.

I am a friend of Tammy's from Free Republic. She frequently joined us on the Prayer Thread for President Bush and I always appreciated her contributions. We were all so impressed and excited when she and others were able to help her ailing father vote for the President in the 2004 election. Tammy's life had great meaning and I suspect that you will be hearing from people for a long time about the ways she touched their hearts. It is consoling to know that she made the world a better place. This should be the goal for all of us. May the Lord comfort you in your sorrow, and may you always continue to feel Tammy's love for you.

To Tammy's Family,
First of all, let me say how shocked I was to read this in the paper and how very sorry I am for your loss.
I used to volunteer with Tammy in Tomball on the ambulance many years ago, well before her wonderful girls were born. She was a great teacher and always willing to help and share her knowledge. I am greatful that our paths crossed. Again, my sincere sympathy to the entire family.

Rachel & Krystina,
My brothers and I grew up with your Mom, Aunt Pam, Aunt Kim and Uncle Mike. We have a lot of fun & happy memories of her... she had a warm smile and great laugh. I will keep those memories I have of her close to my heart just as I know you will. I'm certain that she will be looking down on you with a proud smile throughout your lives. Your Mom was considered a part of my family; please know that you are as well, and if you ever need anything we are here for you.
Ruth, Pam, Mike & Kim we love you and are hearts deeply ache for you. I pray that you are comforted knowing that her Daddy was there to welcome her home. I'm sure Dennis was on that welcoming committee too! You know if you need anything that we will be there for you.... you and ALL your family are in are hearts and prayers.
