Peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family, after a short illness. Predeceased by his parents Paddy and Mary Gavin. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving wife Kathleen, sons David and Shane, daughter Lisa (Kennedy), daughter in law Breda, son in law Colm and Shane's partner Siobhan, grandchildren Roisin, Lorna, Ryan, Aoibheann, Caoimhe and Leah, brothers Michael, Martin, Kevin and Noel, sisters Marie (Hynes), Noeline (Mulkerns) and Teresa (Prendergast), aunts, uncles, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives and a wide circle of friends and neighbours.

Reposing at his home (H53 R271) on Wednesday 28th June from 5 pm to 7 pm. Funeral cortége arriving to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Creagh on Thursday for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Creagh Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations if desired to Galway Hospice Foundation.
