Peter McDonagh Death Notices
McDONAGH, Peter, Derrylea, Clifden, Co. Galway. The family of Peter McDonagh would like to acknowledge and thank most sincerely all those who expressed their sympathies to us on our recent loss. Thanks to everyone who visited the house, brought food and refreshments and assisted with parking. Special thanks to all who attended the funeral and also to those who offered us their condolences. Thanks also to those who sent Mass cards and wrote letters, made phone calls or sent messages and sent flowers and offered us assistance and kindness in any way. We would especially like to acknowledge with gratitude, those who travelled the long distances to be with us at this time and also to our supportive relatives, neighbours and friends. We would also like to thank the doctors, nurses and all the team at UCHG. Thanks too, to the doctors and staff at Clifden Medical Practice. We also wish to acknowledge each of our carers who called to assist us from Connemara Care. A special word of thanks to Fr. James Ronayne and Fr. George Izidor for the Concelebration of the Holy Mass and also to Breda for the fitting choice of music and hymns. Thanks too to Máire for her beautiful singing and also thanks to the readers of the Liturgy of the Word and the Prayers of the Faithful. Thanks to the undertaker, John Mannion for his assistance and also to the gravediggers who prepared Petie's resting place with such great care and attention. Thanks too to the Station House Hotel, Clifden and their staff for the lovely meal they provided afterwards. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this as a token of our gratitude and deep appreciation. Petie's Month's Mind Mass Will be held on Saturday, 26th October at 7pm in Clifden Church.
