Paul L. Bingham
Paul L. Bingham, age 84, of Canton, passed away Sunday morning, August 17, 2008. He was born in Altoona, PA on September 13, 1923 to the late Daniel E. and Lula (Anderson) Bingham and was a 1941 graduate of Altoona High School. He served with the 730th Ordinance Light Maintenance Company of the 30th Infantry Division in the Army during World War II. He retired in 1991 after working for American Motors, Chrysler Corp. and Jaguar Cars. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Norma Jean; children, Paul (Geneva) Bingham of Pennsylvania, Deborah (Larry) Thompson of Hartville, Nancy Conner of Pennsylvania; brother, Daniel (Virginia) Bingham of Akron; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by a brother and sister. His wishes were to be cremated and laid to rest at the Military Cemetery in Rittman. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

NANCY, I AM SO SORRY TO HEAR OF THE PASSING OF YOUR FATHER. YOU AND I WERE FRIENDS BACK IN MIDDLE SCHOOL AT JACKSON AND VISITED EACH OTHERS HOUSES OFTEN. I KNOW WE HAVE LOST TOUCH OVER THE YEARS BUT I THINK OF MY FRIEND EVERY NOW AND THEN. YOU AND YOUR FAMILY ARE IN MY THOUGHTS AT THIS TIME.
