Bethany Presbyterian Church was the place I got to know this wonderful family. Bob and Monica would pick me and family up every Sunday for Church for quite some time, until my mom remarried. Your family crossed my mind during the holidays - as magic always seem to happen. A little girl's imagination during holiday plays, and xmas potlucks. My heart goes out to the family. ---Shoua Lee

I remember Bob playing the organ at Bethany. He was a wonderful and active member of the congregation. Sympathy to Monica and his children.

I am filled with deep sadness with Bob's passing. I had many amazing 'experiences' with Bob going back over 40 years. His shining wit and love of music always inspired me. The cat was amazing! I remember buying my first 'new' HI-FI turntable from him while he was a stereo equipment salesman. Rock On Brother..

I knew Bob for just short of 40 years - thinking back - I just can't remember a bad moment with him -ever. This guy loved music ( almost any kind) - loved the joy a audience got from music , and his family. I'll miss that smile and wry sense of humor.

I met Bob and Monica only more recently through my work with one of his friends. I can only say that there are very few people in the world that can be the kind of friend that both of them have been. Monica, you have my deepest deepest sympathy for your loss. I am sorry that I will not be able to attend the service on Friday. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help at this time.

Bob was one of my first bosses when he and John hired me over 30 years ago at their record store and I also baby sat for he and Renee back then. I will miss his ready smile and his eagerness to help out.
A fond memory is from the late 80's when I was working at Discovery World and asked Bob to lend a hand teaching kids in a workshop how to do radio announcing and how to produce a Public Service Announcement. Not only did he teach them, he recorded their PSAs and used them on the air at WFMR! Dozens of kids and their families got to hear them on the radio. Just one small example of what a sweet man he was.

I remeber Bob as a gentle, and caring person and can't recall one bad thing about him. I thank him and Monica for taking me in as a child and making a impact on my life. Bob will be missed by me, my wife and my children.

Bob lived his life helping and counseling others through their grief. We will all remember his caring and compassion and we offer the same to his wife Monica, sons Jeffery and Johnathan and daughter Theresa. To Susan and Jimmy & family, know that you are loved.
The rest of us will go on and "Always remember that the world is round, and the place that may seem like the end, may actually be the beginning."
I expect to pass through this life but once.
Therefore, if there be any kindness I can show,
or any good thing I can do for another human being,
let me do it now, for I shall not pass this way again.
