I will always remember him for the gentleman he is. We spent a short time knowing each other in high school and continued our friendship once he entered the military and moved to California we kept in touch. He always told me to be a lady and that he knew I was a good person despite my attitude. He was always so nice to me when I was down. It hurts to see someone who treated me so well gone. My condolences go out to the entire Melancon family. Chris will truly missed.

To the family,
Don't think of him as gone away because his journey's just begun, Life holds so many facets and this earth is only one. Think of him as living in the hearts of those he touched..For nothing loved is ever lost and he was loved so much. Chris will truly be missed by our family.

When we lose someone we love

Chris is forever smiling in the hearts of those who met him, when I think of Chris I remember his smile and him telling me about the 'Ill Mill', during our Freshman year at Clark.
To his family please know that he is in the safety of the Lord now. I pray that God surounds you with a peace that only He can give. I am truly sorry for your loss and appreciative of the time that we were blessed to spend with Chris.

I can't even believe that I'm writing this right now. I know we didn't talk as often as we used to but when we did it was cool. I'm sad to see you go but happy to know where you are :-) My heart goes out to your family and EVERYBODY whose lives you touched.
