Mr. Craft hired me as a new teacher (straight out of college)at (Big) Picadome Elementary School in 1967. He encouraged me, was compassionate to all of the staff and showed concern for all of the students. He was a good role model and will be missed.

Dottie, My deepest sympathy to you and your family. Bill touched my heart in so many delightful ways! His laughter could make the cloudiest of days brighter! We worked together at Ridge in the early and mid 90's. With God's Love, Paula

Our thought and prayers are with you all. Mom and Dad wish they could be with you at this time, but his illness as you know prevents this. Dad is glad to have spent some time with Bill before he became ill.Once again our prayers are with you.

Dottie, it was with much sadness that I read of Bill's passing. To refresh your memory, Bill and I were in "The Music Man" together with the Lexington Musical Theatre, He played Mayor Shinn, and I played his wife. Although I was a real novice, you and Bill were so kind and made me feel so welcome. Thanks for making it such a memorable experience for me. I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.

We send our sincerest sympathy to the family of Mr. Bill Craft. We will always remember Mr. Craft as one of our High School teachers in Pikeville in the early 1950's. We admired him very much and remember him as a great teacher and friend.

To the Family of Coach Bill Craft,
Coach Craft was Junior Varsity Coach my sophmore year and end coach, Jr. and Sr. years. He didn't make a great football player out of me, but he taught me more important things that have helped me through the years. For that, I will always be grateful.
Our prayers will be with you,
Joe Marshall and Jane Kehrt

Dear Dottie and family: Needless to say, I am very sorry to read about Bill's passing. I certainly enjoyed my association with him, even the disagreements. Every single person who met Bill through me shared my admiration and affection for him. You are surely in my thoughts and prayers at this time of sorrow. I pray you will find solace in the fact that he was such a good person, and your memories have to be good ones.

Will always remember Mr. Craft singing with our "Red Angels". He became principal when I entered the first grade so am part of his "early" years as principal. My sympathy goes out to all of his family. Will always remember him full of life: with and without his beard.

I remember Bill as a classmate of my sister Alma Haddix Craft. Bill always appeared to me as a gentleman and a scholar. Bill, his parents and brothers were always held in high esteem in our hometown community.
May God Bless,

Sally, I'm sorry to hear about your Dads death. Bob and I are in St.Croix now. Whenever we come to St. Croix I think of the summer you, your brother and Dad came here. Even though we don't always stay in touch with some of our friends it doesn't mean they're far from our thoughts. I still even have a picture of all of us on my frig at home. If you'd like a copy just send me an email and I'll make sure you get it when I get home. As I'm sure you know, your Dad was a special person and made a difference in lots of lives. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Bob and Sharon Curry
