Arthur Feroglia Obituary

Arthur (Sauce) Feroglia, 91, passed peacefully away in Wenatchee on Feb. 5, 2011. He was born in Cle Elum to Kittitas County Pioneers, Joe and Edna (Casey) Feroglia. The family moved to Ellensburg after the father died. Sauce graduated from Ellensburg High School in 1937, excelling in football as running back and known, for his sunny, outgoing personality. He was one of the good guys in the Greatest Generation. Was a medic in the Navy during World War II. He graduated from Central and began his career in education. After retiring as a Principal of Chelan High School, he enjoyed golfing and playing the keyboard, especially entertaining at nursing homes.

He is survived by his wife, Editha; daughters Ardith and Mary Jo (Stan); son, Mark (Leslie); grandsons, Mitch and Jeff; granddaughter Chelsea and Kylie; and his sister, Maxine Bashaw and her husband, Don.

He was proceeded in death by his mother and father; sister Mae; brother, Joe and son, Casey.

He requested no funeral.

Sauce lived a long and fruitful life. To know him was to love him.
