Olivia "Ollie " Stoneburg

1903 - 2011

Olivia "Ollie" Stoneburg passed away on February 7, 2011 at Royal Vista Nursing Home where she received excellent care after 107 years of a good and happy life. Olive was born in Roslyn, WA on September 8, 1903 to Elroy and Margaret Bannister, 1 of 7 children. She lived a good and active life from start to finish. She stayed healthy by walking the hills of Roslyn, Cle Elum and Teanaway Valley's. She loved camping, hiking and gardening. She was an excellent seamstress making many of her own clothing and recovering some furniture to her liking and quilting. She liked carpentry thus building a gazebo with "help of friends" in her 80's. She was loved by her family for her great homemade bread, gentle kindness, good wit and sense of humor.

One of her fondest memories was being elected as a pioneer queen at the age of 100 in 2003. She was a past member of the Eagles club and the pythian sisters organization.

Olive was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Edmund Stoneburg, her siblings George, Francis, Bessie, Marjorie, Lucille and her oldest son Neal Sr. and grandson Neal Jr.

She is survived by her sister Margaret Forenpohar and her son Donald (Pam) Stoneburg, grandchildren Linda (Bill) Whiteley, Janiece (Wayne) Lunt, numerous grand, great, great great grandchildren, nieces nephews and cousins.
