Marlys McIntosh Obituary
She is survived by her sister Blanche Erkle of Minnesota, daughters Sharon (Don) Woodruff, Renton, WA, Bonnie (Mark) Thompson, Auburn, Wa and son William (Sara) McIntosh of Ione, Wa, 10 grandchildren 10 great grandchildren and many nephews, nieces and friends.
A memorial service will be held at the Sumner United Methodist Church, 901 Wood Avenue, Sumner, WA. 98390, on Saturday Feb. 19, at 1:00 p.m.

I worked for Dutch and Marlys when they had an office on Des Moines Way. Marlys was the first truly professional women I knew and she help me become one too. I wasn't good at real estate but I was a whiz in the office. She and Dutch got me a job with Bob Porter and that began my career. She was a wonderful mentor.

I was so sorry to read about Marlys passing. I was a neighbor when she and Dutch lived on 10th in Burien. She and I shared being born on 2/7/25 and we were both members of Eastern Star in Burien. If you remember Billy you were in my Boy Scout troop with my son Terry and Frank. The Bitzans lived behind us. Lots of memories including the duck you kept in the bathroom.
