Maxine Miller was a very influential teacher during my years at California State University at Los Angeles - 1968-1971. Her love of furniture history inspired me to obtain a graduate degree in this area. I have taught in the Applied Living Arts at Cabrillo College in Aptos, California since 1979. Blessings to her memory. Jan Bowman Scotts Valley, California

I am SO SORRY to hear about Maxine's passing. Maxine has been one of my customers for over twenty years. We only new each other by the phone and so one year on her birthday, she was ask what she wanted to do and she replied, "I want to go meet Marcia". That she did and I will always be great full for that day. My thoughts and prayers are with her always. She will truly be loved and missed by all.
