Still thinking about you often. I miss you brother. When I was in your presence I felt a bit safer.

Don was the best car mechanic I ever met . . . He did considerable work on my Toyota pick-up truck which kept it running like a Swiss watch for over twenty years . . . And, aside from his professional expertise, he was a likable fellow with a pleasant demeanor and positive outlook . . . I'm glad I knew him . . .

I am saddened to hear of Don's passing. My sympathies to the Satnik family. It was my pleasure to have known his parents and siblings as well. I have many wonderful memories of them! May God be with you in your time of sorrow!

Though I hardly knew Don, he was very kind to me on several occasions when I stopped by his shop with a question. He had a generous spirit, and I am sorry to hear that he is gone.

Don always made me feel special and was endlessly kind to myself and many others. I met him around 1990, within a circle of friends, enjoying hearing him share about his life. Blessing beloved Don, may your beautiful Spirit dance to our Creator's arm. I will remember you well Don....

Don's Shop was right around the corner from my house when I moved to town in 1983, so close I could push my break-downs there by hand if need be. From the very first, Don inspired trust, confidence, and loyalty, and his willingness to talk through the options of a given problem with an ignorant layman like myself was so painstakingly gracious, I never considered looking for another mechanic. He's left the Valley way better than he found it, and there's a lot of us who'll remember and try just a little harder because of knowing him.

You were a fine man and I always enjoyed chatting with you whenever I stopped by The Shop for a tuneup or any other car problem. You will be sorely missed.

Don, You Creative Artistic Genius, You~
I know you're remodeling old buildings, customizing old cars, building rock dams in the streams, and tending your beautiful gardens--wherever you are~in the light. Thank you for blessing our lives with your many gifts. You will be missed and loved always.
