Kristy M. Rettig CROWN POINT, IN - Kristy M. Rettig, age 57, of Crown Point, IN, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, November 20, 2017, surrounded by her family. Kristy is survived by her three sisters: Karen (Joe) Machara, Kathy James, and Julie Kelley; two brothers: Joe (Kelly) Rettig, Tom (Jana) Rettig; many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents: Joseph and Joan Rettig. Kristy was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Crown Point. She attended Northwest Indiana Special Education Cooperative and Bridges. Her smile, sassiness, quick witted catch phrases and colorful vocabulary will be remembered by all. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, November 22, 2017, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at GEISEN FUNERAL, CREMATION & RECEPTION CENTRE, 606 E. 113th Ave., Crown Point, IN 46307. Funeral Prayers will be held on Friday, November 24, 2017 at 9:15 AM at Geisen Funeral, Cremation & Reception Centre, Crown Point, IN, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 321 E. Joliet St., Crown Point, IN 46307, with Fr. Pat Kalich officiating. Internment will take place at St. Mary's Cemetery, Crown Point, IN.
