Not sure what to say?

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

The best person you will ever know He died brave, He looks just like my Brother Otho O Brown the last light house keeper in Fernandina Beach Fl a true friend he was ,

Attended and briefly met GEN Westmoreland at a lecture in 1985 at the University of Notre Dame, Hesburgh Library. It was a captivating presentation and when it was an open forum, he addressed some pretty challenging questions from the audience. I remember his fundamentally sound and succinct answers to them all. I've forgotten many lectures in this life, but never that one. RIP, sir.

My brother, PFC. Michael Conrad Roell, Vietnam Casualty, 26 May, 1967, died wearing his country's uniform. He died well and brave. I believe General Westmorland to be a kind, honest and faithful soldier to the end of his days. I respect him, greatly and I would have shaken his hand warmly. I am sorry that I did not meet this Leader.

God bless Gen, Westmorland. Mygeneration fought in Vietnam Nam. I am a 68 year old woman who has great admiration for this man.l

Rest William, until you hear at dawn,
the low, clear reveille of God.

Thank you for your service to this nation.

The General was a friend to China's current Emperor-in-Exile, His Imperial Majesty Yao Sui. He will be missed.

A Fine General and a Christian Man. A friend of mine, Cpl. Wade C. Henry was a driver for Gen. Westmoreland.

Gen. William Westmoreland was truly an amazing person with so much talent the loss is clearly ours. Prayers fill our hearts while singing praises to God asking him to let us never forget the love we have for this wonderful person gone from our lives never forgetting the joy we shared experiencing a great talent. Hebrews 6:10.
