Arthur F. Whitley of Tampa, FL died on Tuesday July 5th at age 84. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Isabella; his sons Brent, Scott (Laura) and Todd; and his granddaughters Heather, Gabby, and Lexi. He was born on April 14, 1927 in Brooklyn, NY. He served in the Navy during World War II and received an honorable discharge in 1946. Arthur graduated from Brooklyn Polytechnical Institute with a degree in electrical engineering and worked as an engineer for PSE&G for 12 years. He then went to law school at night and received his JD from Seton Hall Law School in 1955. He passed the General Bar as well as the Tax and Patent Bars. He raised his family in New Jersey and worked for 21 years at Engelhard Corporation. He was associate General Counsel and retired as Executive Vice President. After retiring, he moved to Naples, FL in 1999 and then to Tampa in 2008. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.marsicanofh.com.
