Jerry fought his illness for almost 5 years - never heard him complain about anything except for the fact that he had to depend others to assist him.On one of the last doctor visits we were enroute to-he said "I'm a lot of troubble aren't I - I looked over to him and replied - "No - you ain't heavy - to which he said - "You're my brother" meant the world to me.
During my life when I was having a rough time of it - he was always there to help - I am thankful that I was able to be there for him during this rough time in his life - RIP Jerry

My sincere sympathies to all of Jerry's family. I'm saddened by the loss of a good man that would do anything for you. I still carry in my pocket every day a Buck pocket knife Jerry gave me in 1980! Together again without suffering and in peace with Janice.

Gail and Max, Jerry fought a long battle, and you two were right there with him all the way. He was blessed to have you both to watch over him as you did with Janice till she passed. You both are very special people and God will Bless those that are there for their family and others. Jerry and Janice are happy now in heaven together again, no more suffering or tears to shed. We felt like we knew Jerry through you both. We had only met him a couple of times, we enjoyed being with him those times. Our prayers are with Lee and Hannah, and the Morgan family, so sorry for your loss. Betty and Chuck
