GIBSON, John William, 87, of Spring Hill, formerly of Pinellas County, passed away November 5. He was born in New Bedford, MA and was Catholic by faith. John served in the Army Air Corp during World War II. He retired from Honeywell Aerospace with over 30 years of service. He is predeceased by his wife of 62 years, Mildred L. Gibson. He is survived by his son, Craig A Gibson (Marlu); daughter, Carol A Norman (Russell); 2 grandsons, Jonathan and Christopher Norman. Visitation will be November 8 from 6 to 8pm at 280 Mariner Blvd. Funeral Service will be November 9 at 10am at Brewer Chapel, with interment following at Florida National Cemetery with Military Honors. Carol, you have my deepest sympathy with the passing of your father. John, meant a lot to me over the years and he will always be in my thoughts as well as you and your family. You can always be proud of the qualities that John stood for. He will be remembered by many. Hope to talk with you soon.
