Nancy Hime Obituary

Hime, Nancy Rose 84, longtime Glenview resident, passed away November 20, 2012. Beloved wife of William "Bill"; loving mother of Carolyn Sue "Susie" Hime, Lisa Backus and Sandy (Roger) Miller; proud grandmother of Havalah Grace Backus, Maharah (Adam) Jones, Shalanah (Grant) Dawson, Yatashah Backus and Maxwell Miller; great grandmother of Anavah, Asher, Tovah, Talyah and baby Jones; dear sister of Milton (Joy) Price, the late Richard and Teddy Price; aunt of seven. Nancy received a full scholarship to and graduated with a chemistry degree from Northwestern University where she met her beloved husband; both loyal Wildcat fans and avid golfers. Devoted Christian, charter and longtime member of the Presbyterian Church of Glenview. We are blessed and grateful to God that she was in our lives. Viewing Saturday, November 24 from 11- 11:30 AM and visitation 11:30 AM- 12:30 PM at N.H. Scott & Hanekamp Funeral Home, 1240 Waukegan Rd. (just south of Lake Ave. on west side), Glenview. Funeral service 1 PM at North Branch Bible Church (formerly Presbyterian Church of Glenview), 3030 Central Rd., Glenview, IL, 60025. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Northwestern University or the church. Funeral info 847-998-1020.
