Dear Amy & Girls, I had the privilege of working for Paul for a few years in Akron, I remember him for being a wonderful and caring boss and person. Always, always positive, supportive and upbeat. But most of all, I will never forget the passion and love he had for you and his little girls! He was never too busy to take a call from you and always would give his fullest attention to whatever you were saying. He is certainly up there in Heaven watching over his "girls"! Such a sad time, but we are all better people for having known your Paul.

Amy, Sarah and Kat,
Our prayers are with you. We are lucky to have known Paul for the last couple of years. He kept Frank and I company by sitting with us for all those long hours at volleyball tournaments. We loved listening to him as he would tell us the stats and plays from all the past games. To our amazement he was always right. Jessica loves spending time at your house, especially when she helped making "Mr. Meade's cookies". Paul will be missed.

When I met Paul more than 20 years ago , he was dating Amy and I was dating Mark. I had no idea then that, they would become not only treasured friends but truly members of our family. Your Dad so loved life, all of you and all of his friends. We will miss him at our fondue dinners, trips to the Riverfront, barbecues and so many more moments in our lives. Sulley will miss his favorite dog sitter who played catch with him and watched movies with him so he'd be alone less. I will miss returning from vacation to those phone messages on our machine from Amy saying, "Paul wake up I know you are up there" after he had fallen asleep watching those movies. Amy, Sarah and Kat, we are here for you whatever you need. We love you. McJoni, Mark, Ashley, and Meghan

It is amazing at how many lives one individual can touch in their lifetime. I was lucky enough to work for Paul several times in my career at Goodyear, he was always there for me whether professionally or personally. We were all his family and he was always proud of our accomplishments. Of course his greatest pride came from his girls, Amy, Sara and Kat, he would talk non-stop about all of you. He is up there smiling and watching over you and all of us now.

Amy, Sarah, and Kat,
Paul always said "what a difference a day makes." He said it on your wedding day, on the day Sarah was born, the day Kat was born, and on many other important days of his life. It is true, "what a difference a day makes," because the loss of Paul Meade on 11/22/12 is a day that we all stopped to reflect on the kind and generous man that touched our lives with humor, wisdom, devotion to his family, hard work, and friendship. We love you so much!!! Edie and Michael

Dear Amy, Sarah, and Kat ... Your husband and father was a "great" man. We are so blessed to have gotten the precious time we had with him. Especially Sarah, I remember her saying to me "Mom you have just got to meet Paul Meade, he is the most generous man I have ever met". From that day forward, he invested his time and his energy into demonstrating love and compassion in just every aspect. He will never ever be forgotten. If Sarah did not have a guardian angel, she now does - cause he told her so.
We will be here to help you. You are all so blessed to have Paul Meade as your husband and father. Love to all of you.

Dear Amy, Sarah, and Kat,
Please accept our sincere condolences on your loss. Paul was one of the friendliest men we have ever met. I remember when Thomas came home from meeting him the first time and raved about how "awesome" he was and such a great guy to talk to. He never stopped talking about his cookies either! Find comfort in your happy memories and the great love you shared. Please call on us for anything you need.

Reading these words from friends and family about my brother bring comfort to my grieving soul and warmth to my heart. I had many conversations with Paul in the last several years. They are all treasures in my memory. He spoke frequently about when Jesus said, "What you do for the least of my brethren you do for me". He brought these words into reality in his daily life. Amy, Sarah, and Kat will carry on his legacy. I love you Bro.

Amy, Sarah, and Kat. We are all so aware of what we have lost by Paul passing on, but let me tell you what I found thru knowing him. I found a devoted husband, father, brother, uncle, co-worker, godfather, best-man, and friend. I found a man who had no regrets, who lived his life to the fullest, who laughed easily and loved the people who moved thru his life. I found the real meaning of kindness, of goodness, the kind we all want to emulate. I found someone who was succesful in life but was generous to a fault with his fortunes. I found someone who made our lives seem more interesting and special than his. I found someone who made US better...who made the world better.....who made me better. Paul saw his passing coming from a long way off and he did not waste it. He made sure he let those around him know what they meant to him. He made sure things were in order before his time had come. He made peace with his heart, his family, his God, his world, and his mind. He was given a task to show all of us what we need to do everyday......because most of us will not have the time that he had before we pass. Take the time to show those around you how you feel everyday. I am so blessed to have been called his friend.

Meade Family,
We are so sorry for your loss. The Woodridge Community suffered a great loss in his passing. I am sure the first softball game will be hard for Sammie(Slammin' Sammie as he called her) without him there rooting her and everybody else on. He truly was one of the kindest and most generous people I have ever met and will be greatly missed. Mr. Meades Cookies are Legendary with anyone that was lucky enough to get one.

Amy, Sarah and Kat,
The world lost a great man... But take comfort in knowing he has been called home to Glory. Paul was truly a man of integrity. His legacy lives on in the lives he influenced. One being 9 yr old Carson who asked for Mr. Meade's cookies for his entire class just 4 wks ago for his birthday. We will always remember him as one of the most generous, gentle spirits we ever knew. May the three of you feel God's hands upon you walking you through your sorrow and pain comforting you with His peace and abundant love.

Amy, Sarah and Kat, I'm so very sorry for your loss. It hasn't been that long ago that you were there for Kendal and I when Larry died. Paul and Larry became friends and had a special bond. They both loved and cherished their families. I remember how helpful Paul was and what a kind, compassionate, man he was. He was the total package. I hope you will find peace at some point and know that we care. He will be missed but never far from our hearts. Blessings Barbara and Kendal

6 years ago Ben came home and said he had met a girl at school. This was a daily occurrence in our household so we thought little of this. Little did we know that our world would soon change and Kat Meade would take our house by storm. Several days later, Ben and Kat arranged a day of swimming at the natatorium, and Ben asked if I would please go. Nat lover I am not, therefore I begged my husband to go. Begrudgingly he went and so started the bromance of Mike Mehalik and Paul Meade. I will thank God for that day every single day for the rest of my life.
Paul's love for his wife and daughters was beautiful to witness. Three strong, and brave beautiful women inside and out. Paul made everyone around him feel special and loved. We will miss you Paul Meade but we take comfort in knowing that you are at peace. Our family feels blest to have been part of your journey, and this week we will celebrate you Paul Meade, with all of those who took that beautiful journey with you as well.
Love you Paul!

It would be hard to find a more gregarious man than Paul. When I first met him a few years ago, he made me feel like I was an old friend, and I thoroughly enjoyed his highly amusing stories of growing up in South Carolina. He was a warm, compassionate, and intelligent man, and will be missed.
