Edward Keck Obituary

Edward C. Keck, 84, passed away December 19, 2012 after a long illness.

Ed was born in Fremont, Ohio and graduated from Bowling Green State University. He served in the U.S. Army and fought in the Korean War. After his discharge, he moved to Akron and was employed by B.F. Goodrich as well as Warner Cable.

He was preceded in death by his wife of almost 50 years, Joan, in 2010.

He is survived by his daughter, Carole (Gary) Grinder; son, E.J. Keck; and grandsons, Michael and Ryan Grinder.

There will be no calling hours. A memorial service will be held at the Rose Hill Burial Park Mausoleum, Friday at 11 a.m., where the Firestone VFW Post 3383 and the Korean War Veterans will conduct military services.
