KEEFE, SEAN M. Sean M. Keefe of Branford passed away on December 31, 2012 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in New Haven on September 26, 1946 to the late Frank and Grace Keefe. Sean was the treasured husband of Mary (Grady) Keefe and the world's greatest father to Padraic and Grady Keefe of Branford. In addition to his immediate family he is remembered and missed by his only brother Frank "The Coach" Keefe and his wife Kathleen. He is survived by his many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Upon graduating from Villanova University and serving in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War, Sean followed in his father's footsteps and made a lifelong career in dental supply sales, continuing the family business, Keefe Dental Supply Company before joining Henry Schein Dental. Sean enjoyed a life of endless summers from Buff Ledge Camp in Mallets Bay, Vermont to the sandy coast of Long Island Sound at the Owenego where he spent countless hours creating and reflecting on memories with friends and family. When not by the water's edge, he could be found on his boat with his family and friends sailing into the sunset. The family would like to thank Sean's dedicated Oncology Team at Yale University Health Services for the comfort and support they provided him. Family and friends may call Friday, January 4, 2013 from 5 - 8 PM at the W. S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 North Main St., Branford and are invited to attend a memorial service at the Church of Christ Congregational, 192 Thimble Island Road, Stony Creek, Saturday morning at 11:00. To honor Sean's memory donations may be made to Brian's Hope, 31 Beechwood Road, Branford, CT 06405. For directions and online memorial see www.wsclancy.com.

Going to miss you Sean. I have fond memories of 1977 when you and your dad guided the setup of my dental practice and the years of friendship that followed. You were always there for me.
