Not sure what to say?

I came to know Dorothea when she was a patient of Dr. Mark Beehner, an Oral Surgeon. She was an extraordinary woman with a heart of gold! I always looked forward to her visits and stories of her beloved grandchildren. I miss her.

I remember Dorothea fondly. She was a patient of the oral surgeon I worked for. (Mark Beehner). I always looked forward to her visits and tales of grandkids! She was a special, beautiful lady!!❤

Dorothea was a patient of Dr. Mark Beehner and maybe I should not have enjoyed her visits to see him....but I did.....she was one of the sweetest ladies to ever grace our doorway!! I so looked forward to seeing her pictures of the grandkids she so loved!! I will always remember her fondly.....as will Dr. Beehner.

'Mrs Gus' was the best, bottom-line/bass-line, boogie-woogie!

Just a few words to extend my sympanhy for Dorthea. She was a wonderful organist and a beautiful individual. We will all miss her and Gus.

Dorothea was fun to talk to as a fellow musician. When she attended a service where I was the organist, she would frequently stay until the postlude ended to share a compliment or mention that she played a particular song "years ago." I had the honor of playing the organ for Gus's funeral and she was very kind and complimentary. She always had kind words for everyone and a smile too. Now she and Gus can again make music together to the glory of God.

Condolences to Dorothea's family. She was a very special lady. She and Gus were the music program at MUMC for many, many years. Even when she had health issues, she always managed to have a smile. She will be missed!

Dorothea was a wonderful person & a great neighbor to our family for over 30 years.

Dorothea shared her gift of music with all of us at Manchester UMC. As organist, accompanist for the Circuit Riders and piano teacher, she was a dear talented woman with a great sense of humor. She's playing again for Gus in Heaven. My sympathy to the family on the passing of this lovely lady.
