He never missed riding a float for nearly 40 years, riding in both the Monday and Tuesday parades. To honor his memory, his two sons & son-in-law stood next to his empty chair which was placed on his float at his riding position along with his special "Quack" mask.

Camille was my first boyfriend at age 12. I remember Camille, Tommy Leblanc, Emile and a few others riding their bikes over to my house in Arbolada . We would sit for hours in my front yard and talk. Life was so simple then. My condolences to the family, I know you miss him terribly......Joanie Morvant Andrews

I was so sorry to hear about your dad's death. We will all miss him very much. Your dad was a good man. Sometimes a mess, but are we not all, sometimes. Your dad did much good for many people. I always looked forward to his captain's speech at Mardi Gras. He set the tone for the day.
Your dad never met a stranger and was nice to all. I will always have good memories about your dad. Please accept Bootsie and my sympathy and wish you and your family the best.
