Not sure what to say?

Ms. Veda - my memories are few, but I do remember how kind she was to me as a young girl. She once invited me and my mother to have tea at her beautiful home, and treated me with such kindness that I have not forgotten her all these years later. She was a beautiful soul and I was in awe of her. Ms. Veda, your impression on me has lasted years. You were such an important part of Moorpark’s history. To a sweet woman of quiet strength, I hope your memory will never become lost.

Words cannot ease the pain of losing a loved one, but I'd like to share the following quote.

“You're not around, but your memories still remain captured in our hearts. You were like an angel that came and made our lives beautiful, and now that you are in heaven, we know you are doing the same.”

On behalf of Ventura County Forty Leaguers, I would like to pass on our condolences to Veda's friends and family. I can't express enough how thankful we all are to have Veda...

Jim and Linda and Family, Veda was such a lovely lady. I loved her story. We were so lucky to have our parents around for so long and to grow up in the little country town of Moorpark before it became a city. Veda is in Gods loving care. She and my mother are probably playing bridge with Irene Giesler and the rest of the great gals that we knew growing up. Love and prayers to all of you.

Brought back many memories of "old times" at Holy Cross Church and Altar Society, our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Mary Olsen Rydberg
