A funeral service for Mr. Walter C. Branch Jr. will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2013, 1:30 p.m., at the Trinity Missionary Baptist Church of God In Christ, 233 Halifax St., Petersburg, with Pastor Jeffrey L. Dodson Sr., officiating.
Interment will follow in the Lively Cemetery, Chester, Va. Remains will rest in the church one hour prior to service. Mr. Walter C. Branch Jr. served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean War; and of his many friends, there was one devoted, Dr. Samuel Bush, for 50 years.
Family and friends are asked to assemble at the residence, 1122 Commerce St., Petersburg, at 12:15 p.m. on the day of the service.
Professional funeral services are entrusted to the staff of the J. L. Dodson and Sons Funeral Establishment, 25824 Greensville Ave., Petersburg, Rev. Jeffrey L. Dodson Sr., funeral director, 804-732-5959 and 804-834-3330. Condolences may be registered at www.jldodsonandsons.com.
