Nov. 18, 1954 - April 7, 2013
SOUTH BEND - Mark A. "The Ice Man" Kaczmarek, 58, passed away on Sunday, April 7, at home. Mark was born on November 18, 1954 in South Bend to Marion and Christine (Lentsch) Kaczmarek. He was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving are three sons, Matthew, Zachary and Michael all of South Bend; a sister, Maria (Scott McGirr) Kaczmarek of South Bend; a brother Kenneth (Linda) Kaczmarek of Bloomington, IN and many nieces and nephews. Also surviving are his former wife, Jessica Hale of South Bend, and his beloved dog, Sammie. Mark was the General Manager and founder of Mr. Ice Machine Inc. He was a graduate of Riley High School and was an avid fan of Indiana University and Notre Dame. Mark enjoyed watching sporting events, especially wrestling. Mark was very personable and well known in local restaurants due to the nature of his business.
