Brodersen, Peter J. 05/01/1928 04/29/2013 Peter Brodersen, former Dallas resident, passed peacefully with family in Valencia, CA. Peter was born in Brooklyn, NY to Peter & Mary Brodersen. At 17, he joined the USMC, received a Good Conduct Medal and was Honorably Discharged as a Sergeant and WWII Veteran. Back in NYC, Peter met Peggy, whom he wooed over the phone before meeting for a Christmas Eve drink on Wall St. Their 60-yr love affair produced 5 children, 7 grandchildren, and millions of joyful moments. In Dallas, Peter enjoyed a 25-year career with First Southwest Company, participated in politics, but was entirely devoted to family. He will be dearly missed by "his Peggy", his children: Suzanne & Jeffrey Pledger, Ed & Nicole Brodersen, Matt Brodersen, Liz & Alex Walker, Patricia Brodersen; his grandchildren Nathan, Caroline, Sam, Casper, Erin, Jack and Grace; and his brother William Brodersen. Services 05/06, 1pm Eternal Valley Memorial Park, Newhall, CA.
