Juelia Bowers
Juelia Marie Bowers, age 75 of Clarksville, passed away at her residence on Wednesday, June 26, 2013.
A celebration of her life will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, June 28, 2013 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel, with Rev. David Mackens officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be Thursday from 4-8 p.m., and Friday from 9 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Bowers was born December 5, 1937 in Louisville, KY. She was preceded in death by her parents, James H. and Dorothy Young Smith; husband of 40 years, George W. Bowers; sisters, Juanita Smith and Carolyn Bryant.
She was a retired cook, a member of the League of Angels and Women of the Moose.
Survivors include her sisters, Barbara "Penny" Crotzer, Dorita Jeffries, Phyllis Self, Donna (Bob) Curtsinger, Sherrie (Robert) Foulks; brothers, James "Sonny" (Carla) Smith II, Gary "Snuffy" (Jodi) Smith, Robert Smith, Danny "Butch" Smith, Eugene "Turtle" (Anna) Smith; and step-son, Donald W. Bowers.
Pallbearers will be Jeremy Bolin, Jason Bolin, Leonard Jeffries, Jeffrey Jeffries, Benny Humphrey and James Harrell
