William "Billy" Page Beall COLUMBIA William "Billy" Page Beall, 87, of Columbia, SC, died Monday, September 2, 2013. Born in Memphis, TN, he was a longtime resident of Columbia, SC. He was the son of the late Charles R. Beall and Leila K. Beall. A beloved husband, father and grandfather, Mr. Beall is survived by his wife of 62 years, Sally Swindler Beall; and children, Charles Page Beall, William Paul Beall, Kay F. Beall, Sally Ann Beall and Connie Beall Doar (Steven); grandchildren, Bryan Page Beall, Katherine Ann Beall, Nicolas D. Doar and Jackson A. Doar. Mr. Beall was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, serving in WWII on the USS Pasadena in the Pacific Campaign. He retired from Graybar Electric Company after 35 years of service and Southeastern Electric after 13 years. Mr. Beall was an avid hunter and fisherman throughout his life, but his family was his one true love. The family will receive friends and family from 11:00 a.m.-noon on Wednesday, September 4, 2013, with service to follow at noon at Thompson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. The service will conclude at graveside in Elmwood Cemetery with military honors. Memorials may be made to Pets, Inc., PO Box 6394, West Columbia, SC 29171 in Billy's honor.
