Betty J. Carpenter, 67, of Mansfield, went to be with the Lord Monday, November 18, 2013 at MedCentral/Mansfield Hospital, Mansfield, after a short illness.
Betty was born in Portsmouth on October 3, 1946 to the late Charles and A. Lorraine (Sloas) Carpenter.
She was a graduate of Ontario High School, Class of 1964. She retired from PECO as a quality manager. Betty had implemented their ISO Program. She loved antiquing, classic cars and car shows. She was a huge Ohio State Buckeye Fan and always did the cheer O – H – I – O! Her greatest joy was her family and she enjoyed getting together with them for gatherings.
She is survived by her three sisters Kay Leech, St. Petersburg, FL; her twin sister Bonnie & Keith Green, Mansfield; and Sharon and Doug McKinney, North Canton; her sister-in-law Sujin Carpenter, Mansfield, numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
She was preceded in death by three brothers Thomas E. Carpenter, Charles A. Carpenter, Jr., and Michael R. Carpenter; her sisters-in-law Ruth Carpenter and Sharon K. Carpenter, and her niece and nephew Erin and Kevin Green.
A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, November 22, 2013 at 2:00 PM at 1115 Sheirer Road, Mansfield.
