Not sure what to say?

dear Brian, Alex an Maggie, Your mother has been on my mind for several days. I wake up thinking about her. Today I decided to find out if your folks were still on Fontaine in San Diego. No luck from 411 so I just googled your dad and lo and behold I found him here. I was shocked and saddened to see that he had passe four years ago and one of the messages seemed to be saying both had passed. If by any chance you happen to get this message I would love to talk to any or all of you. I so loved both of your parents and for many years I considered your mother my very best friend. After I was divorced from John, I moved to Utah we got out of touch although I did go to see/stay with them in San Diego a couple of times. I remember all of you very well as children and would love to hear about your lives. In case you don't remember me, I have three daughters: Liz, Lori and Susan. our two families spent a lot of times together particularly when the boat was off on a cruise. My 'love to all of you!!!!!

He was LT Biggar to me when we served on the Raton. He and I were the ships divers. We also shared many recreational dives.

I had the pleasure of delivering the newspaper to Mr. Biggar for several years. He was always terribly sweet and patient with me. I spent a childhood and young adulthood waving and smiling to him and was amazed that he ALWAYS took the time to do the same. Rest in Peace Mr. Biggar

I only met Bill in '06 and I liked him from the second we shook hands. I never met the Navy Capt. William Biggar but I got to know the man, Bill. In Bill's last year I got to spend the better part of a week in San Diego with him. He was a good, kind, respected , funny, warm man who also happened to be a hero. I will never forget him.
