Mom, I never really knew what pain felt like until the day that I lost you. I really wish I could just wake up one day & you be there. It kills me inside knowing I will no longer have you ! I still till this day can not believe that you are no longer with us. When we were at LMH you held my hand & when I attempted to let go to walk out of the room you squeezed my hand tighter, I knew you realized I was there with you. When I rode up to OSU in the ambulance they would not let me stay by your side, just know I was still there. The moment that they gathered the family and told us there was no pulse found my heary completely shattered. I wish there was something I could have done. Im still not ready to let go. You were more then my mother but also my bestfriend. The only one who could give me the strength to push foward when I felt like giving up. You were everything to me ! I never got the chance to tell you how much you were appriciated for all that you did for me & the boys. I hope you hear Braydhen every night, he prays to you. The boys miss you so much too. When they get older I promise not a day will go back that I dont express how much love you had for them & how much of an amazing grandmother that you are. Its one of the hardest things I have ever done in life is having no choice but to continue without you here with me. I know physically you may not be here but you will always be in my heart. I wish I did not let time slip away & I should have told you at LMH, you are going to be a grandmother again. I dont want to do this without you, you were the one to cut both of the boys umbilical cords but Shirley is going to do it for you. I know you still will be there with me in spirit. Every thing I learned in life I learned from you. Most of all ypu taught me what I needed to know to be an amazing mother like you. I love you so much Mom, always & forever ! -Your babygirl

Oh, my, where do I begin? It's so hard to say good-bye to a dear friend. We met when we was only 14. I can not seem to wrap my mind around the fact that you are no longer here. I do, take comfort in knowing you are with your mom, whom you have missed for so many years. Memories are flooding my mind. All of them still make my heart smile. You were such a sweet, loving woman with such a kind heart. Although we had not seen each other in awhile, our conversations always stayed true. I will miss your kind words the most. Rest in Heaven Di....Love you and see you again one day.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.
