Earline Roemershauser Friedrich
Services for Earline Roemershauser Friedrich will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at Horseshoe Drive United Methodist Church with The Reverend Tracy MacKenzie officiating. Interment will follow in Alexandria Memorial Gardens under the direction of John Kramer & Son Funeral Home.
Visitation will held from 9:00 a.m. until time of service on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at the church.
Earline R. Friedrich, 87, formerly of Alexandria, passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2015 in Ukiah, California.
Earline is preceded in death by her husband, The Reverend Roland Kendall Friedrich; parents, Earle Elroy and Nellie Mae Douglas Roemershauser; brother, Elroy Roemershauser.
Earline passed away peacefully on April 25, 2015 in Ukiah, CA at 87 years old. She was born on May 18, 1927 in Bogalusa, Louisiana, the middle of three children. She is now reunited with her husband of 59 years, Roland Friedrich. She graduated from Louisiana State University with a degree in Music Education, teaching high school music in Lake Charles, Louisiana and Atlanta, Georgia. She later taught 5th grade for 26 years at Mary Goff Elementary School in Tioga, Louisiana. Earline dedicated her life to teaching children, raising her family and serving her church. Earline was a faithful member of the Horseshoe Drive United Methodist Church and was past president of the United Methodist Women. She loved to sing and had a beautifully trained soprano voice. Her beautiful voice was heard throughout her life in the United Methodist Church.
Those left to cherish her memory include, son, Mark Friedrich; daughter, Christine Friedrich; son-in-law, Zachary Davis; sister-in-law, Frances Roemershauser; sister, Christine Haupt; along with numerous nieces and nephews and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, the Friedrich Family requests donations be sent to Horseshoe Drive United Methodist Church Building Fund, 1600 Horseshoe Drive, Alexandria, La 71301.

Earline Friedrich has been a lovely lady and marvelous minister's wife for many years. Our prayers and love go out to her family at this time. It was our privilege to enjoy friendship with
