Randy R. Duff
58 of Massillon, passed away Saturday, July 25, 2015, at his residence surrounded by his loving family and friends, following a long battle with lung cancer. Randy was born on March 29, 1957, in Massillon the son of the late Russell and Ardith (Craig) Duff. Randy was a United States Army Veteran and was stationed in Germany. He worked at Ansell Perry, Swift Transportation, Brewster Dairy, MPW Industries and Northern Mobile Electric. He loved hunting, fishing and spending time with his family. He was a wonderful father, grandfather and friend. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley (Turner) Duff whom he shared 29 years of marriage; and his brother, Daniel Duff.
He is survived by his children: Diane (Todd Rogers) Duff, and Randy (Ashley Rogers) Duff, Jr.; his grandson, Eric Duff; his sisters, Sandra Jaberg and Rebecca Amos; his companion, Joann Gamelin; numerous nieces and nephews; and his four legged friend, Ben.
A Celebration of Randy's life will be held on Thursday, July 30, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at Paquelet Funeral Home, with Pastor Dan Sunde officiating. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to St. Jude's Children's Research: 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, Tenn. 38105, stjude.org or (800) 822-6344.
